Market Forecast India's Inflation At 12.82% For The Week Ended Aug 16
India's wholesale price index based inflation to rise to 12.82% for the week ended August 16, 2008, which would be the highest since April 1995.
Inflation would rise close to the 13% mark in Mid-August due to higher prices of some foods and other commodities and elastic demand according to the poll. India's inflation for the week ended August 9, 2008 was 12.63%.
