Satyam has called off deal to buy Maytas Infra and Maytas Properties. The management said that the deal off in deference to views expressed by investors. They have surprised by market reaction even though were positive about merits of acquisition.
Satyam ADR fell 55% from USD 12.5 to USD 5.7 in US market yesterday. However, it recovered 56% from USD 5.7 to USD 8.9 in after hours trading.
