Inflation seen at 0.35 pct on March 28 Vs 0.31 percent rise the previous week.

Inflation seen at 0.35 pct on March 28 Vs 0.31 percent rise the previous week.

India's annual inflation rate is forecast to have edged up slightly for a second week at the end of March as manufactured product and primary article prices rose.

Inflation has been falling sharply as commodity prices plunged due to the deepening global economic and financial crisis and analysts expect it to turn negative in the next few weeks.

We expect inflation to remain at the same level with a marginal rise in the index week-on-week as international oil prices and domestic primary articles prices hardened to some extent.

The data is due around noon (0630 GMT) on Thursday.
