BOR: Market Outlook: Indian markets are expected to have flat to positive opening today.

Market Outlook: Indian markets are expected to have flat to positive opening today. Nifty has supports at 4300-4350 and resistances are at 4450-4500. Trades may go long near support levels. The midcap segment remained the relative out performer of the session. Overall outlook for the markets today is that of cautious optimism as the overseas cues are mildly positive and bulls may attempt a comeback. Much will depend on whether the Nifty stays above the 4490 or not.

On the global front: Wall St ends mixed; Dow slips on weak Morgan Stanley nos & Asian markets trading firm; Hang Seng up. The US markets ended mixed yesterday as both the Dow Jones and the S&P 500 ended the session in the red. However, the tech heavy NASDAQ successfully logged its eleventh straight advance. The Dow was down 34.68 points, or 0.4%, to 8,881.26. The S&P 500 slipped 0.51 points, or 0.1%, to 954.07, and the NASDAQ rose 10.18 points, or 0.5%, to 1,926.38.
